Treena and I went to see the comedian Rhod Gilbert tonight and I have to say, what a show !! Treena bought the tickets as a Valentine’s present.
We’ve seen him on TV on Live at the Apollo where he did his Duvet joke, which is probably the funniest thing I’ve heard. Check out the below clip from 4m 11s for the joke 😀

This was his newest show, ‘Rhod Gilbert and the Cat That Looked Like Nicholas Lyndhurst’ and is based on the last 12-18 months of his life, which he referred to as ‘Shit..’ He gave the show this title because of a fan he has in Canterbury that always brings him a present to the gig, based on the title of the show. So on Rhod’s last tour, entitled ’Rhod Gilbert and the Award Winning Mince Pie’ the fan brought him a mince pie. So Rhod called this tour after something the fan couldn’t bring to the show as a gift. After the show we went to the Stage Door to meet the man himself. If you can get chance to see him live, we highly recommend you do.
